The unknown

I'm just about to shower and get ready to go up to the hospital to have my cerclage taken out. I'm a little apprehensive about this because I don't quite know what to expect. Most likely, it will just be a quick in-and-out kind of procedure without needing to be numbed or anything, and I'll just continue on with the pregnancy for a few more days/weeks. The chance exists that this could cause my cervix to shorten even more and even be the start of labor, especially if it's harder to get it out and they have to do a lot of digging and pulling, but hopefully that won't be the case. I'll post another update tonight and let everyone know how it goes. (I better not go in to labor tonight, we're having Isaac's birthday party finally tonight!) :)
